The Birmingham Experiment

The year is 1961. Cold war tensions are at an all-time high. Harold Macmillian, Prime minister of the United Kingdom at the time, decided to make a secret decision. All of the citizens of Asian descent in Birmingham were to be round up and placed in a government facility. They each got letters in mail, promising free enlistment into the R.A.F. The letter also stated that attendance of a "Seminar" was mandatory. 35,847 citizens arrived, but at the facilities' front gates, only 10 were permitted with entry. The rest were sent home.
The 10 citizens were separated into different cells. Each cell was empty with one army volunteer inside. The citizens were then locked in the room. The army men tied the citizens down to cold metal stretchers. At that moment, most citizens began to scream uncontrollably. Professional doctors were sent into the cells. The doctors would then tranquilize the citizens. Then, the procedure began.
During the procedure, the citizen's foreheads would be sliced into. This would occur until the patient's skull was hit. Then, using intricate sawing, the skull would be cut open. After that, a microchip known as M942A-BV7 (The Controller) was implanted into the patient's Frontal Lobe. After that, the broken portion of the patient's skull was replaced with plastic. Then, the forehead was sewn together.
After 28 hours of total watch and care, patients began to awake. They were normal for the most part, but the chip was lodged in their brain. They were sent to parliament at request of Macmillian. At the building, Macmillian used a Television-like remote towards one citizen. The citizen began to twitch violently.
"At command of my superior." The citizen said.
The British government had invented mind control. They were determined to keep the fact a secret. In an attempt to keep the secret, the facility used to conduct the experiment was destroyed. The citizens were then sent to The Hauge, Netherlands. What happened to them then was unknown.
